Buffer Analysis

Buffers are a powerful tool that can be used to describe distances around particular features.  In the example below, I explore the relationship between open space and schools in New Jersey, by analyzing a one mile buffer around schools.

In another example, shown below, I explore the proximity of children killed by firearms and federally licensed arms dealers.
