Internet and Mobile GIS – Creating a Story Map

Story maps are powerful tools for visualizing geographic information. This example that compares 1930 and 2015 aerial images of New Jersey uses the Spy Glass template.

In the next example, I use data layers from other authors, posted on ArcGIS Online, to develop a story map of food insecurity in Yemen.

The following example compares New Jersey aerial photography for 2007 and 2015 – notice the remarkable coastal changes around Sandy Hook, largely induced by Hurricane Sandy.
